The Volunteer Aging Council raises money through various fundraisers and our monthly luncheons are a great way to support our programs and get a wonderful lunch for only $5.00. Donations are essential to the success of the programs supported by the VAC. The Volunteer Aging Council is a non-profit 501(c)3 org. committed to raising funds to benefit the needs of our less fortunate seniors and veterans of Cherokee County.   Bring a friend, coworker, family member or yourself and enjoy a tasty lunch while supporting the seniors and veterans of Cherokee county. Here are the dates and locations for the luncheons. All luncheons will be held on the 3rd Friday of every month from 11:30 - 1:00 pm. Stay and eat or pick up and go. RSVP the location so all the amazing Chef's can be prepared for all who come to support.

6th Annual Tree of Hope Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

The Tree of Hope will honor all seniors who are served by the Cherokee County Senior Services Center. The community is asked to help decorate this holiday tree by making a contribution of $10 or more “In Honor of” or “In Memory Of” a friend or loved one. For each donation, an ornament with your honoree’s name will be placed on the community tree. Entertainment will be provided by Holly Springs Elementary School. Make plans to bundle up, and after the tree lighting, stay for hot apple cider and Christmas cookies. 6:30pm, downtown Holly Springs Historic Train Depot. 770-345-7515.

Soliel Singers Perform Holiday Songs

Christmas BellsSoliel Singers perform holiday songs and provide entertainment for a small donation fee with 100% of donations benefit the VAC.

Their concert dates for 2017 are Friday 12-1-17 7PM and Saturday 12-2-17 2PM.

Location:  First Baptist Church, 1 Mission Point, Canton, Georgia.

Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes early as concert will start promptly at 7PM and 2PM.
